Ready to lead Gainesville forward

After nine years on the Gainesville City Council, Zack Thompson is running for Mayor. A lifelong resident and local business owner, Zack has played a key role in the city’s growth.

“I’m proud of our city’s progress and ready to continue the momentum as Mayor,” said Thompson. “With deep roots in this community, I’m committed to keeping Gainesville a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”

His campaign will focus on economic growth, public safety, and community strength.

Zack is married to Ali, a Children’s Director at First Presbyterian Church, and they have two daughters. He co-owns Pro Touch Landscapes, a local landscaping business. With a decade of experience, Zack is ready to lead Gainesville forward.
